Schedule of Events for BoVi 2016

During the two-day film festival, the audience can view entries from all over the world. Each day at 6:00 p.m. there will be a speaker who has experience in the film industry. 


  • Thursday, October 13: Ryan Cannon is an assistant professor at Boise State University teaching cinema and digital media. He works in the film and television industries as a director/cinematographer.

  • Firday, October 14: Sonya Rosario is a producer and filmmaker living in Idaho. Her Native American heritage has served as an inspiration for many of Sonya's award-winning productions.

Who: All are welcome to attend (there is no cost to attend)

What: The 5th Annual Boise Student International Video Festival (BoVi)

Why: To promote the film arts in education and the youth

When: Thursday and Friday, October 13th and 14th, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. 

Where: Boise State University, Student Union Building-Special Events Center
